Last night, R&B singer Jaheim Hoagland decided to stick it to Twitter and social media critics. The 39-year old released his debut album back in 2001 called “Ghetto Love” and made hits like “Put that Woman First” that many cherish to this day. Hoagland even released a new album this year in March entitled, “Struggle Love”. However, Jaheim had apparently had enough of negative rays in the spotlight after he posted pictures of a new hairstyle that had jokes flying throughout social media. In his first response, Jaheim took to Twitter stating, “I don’t know why I’m entertaining these broke **** on Twitter. I wish you would think about taking something from me. I’ll break your neck.” In his next video, Hoagland went on to say, “This is the last video I will make. I can’t win arguing with stupid ****. I don’t do what I do to please you. I do it for me. Worry about what you got on your head. Worry about what yo girl got on her head. Work on yourself. Ja is good. Survival of the fittest, take care of yourself.” These tweets catapulted Jaheim to a trending spot on Twitter of No. 2 last night, where he remained this morning. The responses were trigged by fan memes like the ones below. In response to the first Twitter user that posted meme No. 1, Jaheim stated, “I don’t believe someone actually got this dinosaur pregnant.” He attached this caption to a picture he screenshot of the Twitter user when she was pregnant. He also responded to other Twitter users that he felt had wronged him by criticizing their appearance. The weird exchanges lingered into today after Charlemagne the God on the Breakfast Club morning show gave Jaheim Donkey of the Day for responding to Twitter critics. View the video below. What was Jaheim’s response to being deemed Donkey of the Day? He stated, “You fake radio personality. Man, quit now bro. NYC don’t need you. And take that makeup off your face.” Hoagland continued his tirade against Charlemagne saying, “You are a disgrace to God. You are poison behind a mic; fungus; you’re a demon and you gone meet these here healing gloves.”
He posted a fist punching emoji after the last statement. There were also some other derogatory comments posted about the radio host by Jaheim. To see the rest of his tirade to followers and critics, click here.
