This past weekend, various musicians and athletes including Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, LeBron James and JR Smith took out the time to either throw their support for presidential candidate Hillary Clinton or to roast Donald Trump’s rhetoric.
Pop singer Lady Gaga took to social media to offer her thoughts on Melania Trump’s recent speech on behalf of her husband. In the speech, Melania condemned cyberbullying and stated that when she becomes first lady that her main objective would be to tackle bullying online. This would be a kind feat, except her husband has been notorious in committing online bullying in tweets throughout his campaign. Now, the campaign is drawing great flack for what many consider to be hypocrisy. Lady Gaga, who actually founded an anti-bullying campaign called “Born This Way Foundation,” wrote on Twitter, “@MELANIATRUMP to say u will stand for "anti-bullying" is hypocrisy. Your husband is 1 of the most notorious bullies we have ever witnessed.” The affirmation from Melania Trump left many scratching their heads.
