![]() After Kanye West engaged in two separate political rants on-stage at two locations in California, one Sacramento station is tired of his antics. Although social media has made a starch turn from criticizing Kanye to pleading for him to acquire mental help after he was hospitalized yesterday for “exhaustion,” this music director is still upset. Hot 103.5 Music Director JayMarzz stated, “Kanye, this is a really good record – alright, stop this stupid record. That’s the last time you’re gonna hear this song on this radio station ever." His frustrations stem from Kanye ranting at a Sacramento concert last Saturday about political views, the radio and Beyonce and then walking off the stage, leaving fans who paid for the concert with no show. In the past, the radio representative said that he’d supported West. JayMarzz went on to state, ”Alright – everybody came out to have a great time Saturday night. A lot of fans in the building – a lot of people had spent a lot of hard earned money, bro, a lot of hard earned time – time, time, time. Time is something we can’t get back. Everyone can get a refund back – but you can’t get your time back. You can’t get the emotion back that you were gonna put into that show, to watch someone that you love – the person that you buy their music, to perform. It’s called ‘a moment,’ folks – these are what make our lives. Moments and memories to share with each other... and he took that from people Saturday night.” The rest of Kanye’s Saint Pablo tour has reportedly been cancelled as well due to his health. This includes the December concert in Atlanta.

Apparently, being in prison can be a fun experience at times. At least, these Alabama Department of Corrections inmates made it look enjoyable. Using an unknown source, the inmates were able to complete the Mannequin Challenge, which has been sweeping the Internet in the last few weeks. They then uploaded the content to social media. The video was posted last Sunday and has already been viewed 200,000 times. The challenge derives from the rap group Rae Sremmurd. Officials are currently searching for the culprits who managed to gain a cellphone and upload the video. Reportedly, the use of an illegal cellphone inside a prison is a felony. We hope conquering the challenge was worth it. This past weekend, various musicians and athletes including Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, LeBron James and JR Smith took out the time to either throw their support for presidential candidate Hillary Clinton or to roast Donald Trump’s rhetoric.
Pop singer Lady Gaga took to social media to offer her thoughts on Melania Trump’s recent speech on behalf of her husband. In the speech, Melania condemned cyberbullying and stated that when she becomes first lady that her main objective would be to tackle bullying online. This would be a kind feat, except her husband has been notorious in committing online bullying in tweets throughout his campaign. Now, the campaign is drawing great flack for what many consider to be hypocrisy. Lady Gaga, who actually founded an anti-bullying campaign called “Born This Way Foundation,” wrote on Twitter, “@MELANIATRUMP to say u will stand for "anti-bullying" is hypocrisy. Your husband is 1 of the most notorious bullies we have ever witnessed.” The affirmation from Melania Trump left many scratching their heads. ![]() Rapper T.I. issued a lengthy criticism to fellow entertainer Lil Wayne after Wayne made comments condemning the phrase Black Lives Matter. Lil Wayne was asked what he felt about the phrase or group in an ABC interview, where he responded that he had no connection to the movement. Here’s how T.I. responded: "This is my son & daughter showing me this for the first time & asking me what you mean? I'm at a complete loss of words here. Wayne I've known you over a decade. Our daughters grew up together practically. Reginae' spent countless times at my house with Niq-Niq when you were in prison & you extended my daughter the same courtesy when I was in the same position. Our relationship outside of music is what makes me sensitive to your disposition. I KNOW you wired a bit different than most other responsible adults, but still nigga U TRIPPING!!!! I don't know what you goin thru,or what you are attempting to avoid but this s*** is absolutely unacceptable!!!! You're disrespecting yourself, bringing shame on your family name & tarnishing your legacy. You have children (including mines prior to now) that have looked up to you. You have sons & a daughter that depend upon your leadership. Bro if you don't stand for something out here, all the money, jewelry, cars, mansions bandannas & hit records don't mean s***!!!! Our people are being oppressed!!! We are being hunted, captured & slaughtered out here daily!!! You have to get outta that bubble that you've been living in & get out here & educate yourself on what's going on around US!!! I'm always here to share whatever knowledge or understanding I may have to assist your growth & development, but u MUST STOP this buffoonery & coonin' you out here doin. You looking like somebody who has something to gain or lose by pretending like it's not as bad as BLM making it seem & you're not aware of an issue that needs to be addressed. That's what would be considered "Uncle Tom S***".... I know U, YOURE BETTER THAN THIS!!!!! I've been proud to call myself a fan & a friend of Lil Wayne ,but if that must end in order to stand up for those who can't do it for themselves...So be it. If you're not prepared for a question in an interview, say No Comment Bro. But stop embarrassing yourself & everyone out here who's been supporting you. There is no middle ground. Oppression knows no neutral party, either you're part of the oppressed,or you with the oppressor. There is no such thing as oppression not affecting you. It's #USorELSE out here" As of today, Lil Wayne has yet to respond to the Instagram message. Inspirational Rapper Common drops newest album entitled “Black America Again" - Album Review11/4/2016 ![]() Inspirational and conscious rapper Common dropped his newest album entitled “Black America Again” today and social media is lauding the rapper for his work. The album exudes and celebrates African American culture, awareness, spiritual confidence and positivity, while focusing on vibrant melodies, musicality and moving instrumentals. The first song that vehemently caught our eye on the album is called “Let it Rain” ft. John Legend. The rhythm and musical flow throughout the song is hypnotizing, but the lyrics are what catapult the track into the minds of youth and adults. The lyrics state: “I was always told that in the pain, there’s a blessing. Mistakes that I made, they mirrored the lessons. Dear Lord, is this what I’m destined for? If so, than what am I stressing for?” None of the tracks on the album disappoint, but you can really witness vintage Common surfacing in the lyrics and melodic harmonies of the song “Pyramids.” He states: “Aerial nights blew my mind out of stereotypes For ethereal heights, I write like Pritchard Invisible man, pictured below with the hieroglyphicable Prolifical flow, on the walls where the mystics of Kemet would go Son of the sit-ins, you know who I stand with Dude said I was a hero, I ain't nothing but a sandwich A gluten-free one at that, close my eyes see my raps My bio is feedback from what we need rap On some Marshawn Lynch, let me run it back And come with that new black spiritual Every rap's a miracle, condition now critical Game lack lyrical, we need black generals” Overall, the album delivers its true goal: to inspire. We highly recommend individuals of all ages, whether you are a rap fan or not, to check out Common’s inspirational tales of “Black America Again.” Forbes Magazine recently released its 2016 list of the highest paid solo female artists in the world. Who would you expect to top the list? Beyonce, Rihanna? According to Forbes, Singer Taylor Swift pulled in $70 million this year, catapulting her well above the No. 2 singer, Adele, on the list.
It appears that Swift raked in much of the dinero from her 1989 album tour, which featured hits like “I Know Places”; “Wildest Dreams”; and “Style.” She sold more than $255 million in tickets for the tour. Beyoncé ranks fifth on the list, a spot below Rihanna. Madonna was third and Katy Perry came in this year in sixth place. Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Shania Twain and Celine Dion round out the top 10, respectively. People young and old know about the glory days of Motown Records. The label gave many stars their first step into fame like The Temptations, the Jackson 5 and the Supremes, with legendary Miracles member Smokey Robinson at the helm of many great songs. Robinson was responsible for singing and creating hits through his songwriting partnership with label owner, Berry Gordy. Smokey Robinson recently joined the Breakfast Club morning show hosts to discuss music, the difficulties of the 60’s, racism and overcoming the most strenuous obstacles to become the legend he is today.
