As the dynamic 1990's R&B group Boyz II Men so eloquently stated, "We've come to the end of the road and they can't let go". After an embarrassing loss to the San Antonio Spurs, the only thing that Coach Erik Spoelstra could muster was that they had three days to figure it all out. Well, the Heat have a lot of figuring to do tonight as the phrase, "Win or go Home", has never reign any truer. The Heat fell to the Spurs in Game 4, losing 107-86. Although the Heat attempted to claw back in the game within the 4th quarter by scoring 29 points to the Spurs' 26, the tide had already turned. Who's to blame for the lost? In a post-game press conference, Lebron James refused to concede to the fact that maybe the Spurs are just better. So, if that's not what attributed to this disheartening loss, what did? Reasonably, two words can come to mind: Kawhi Leonard. Leonard was like lightening, scoring 20 points and putting up 14 rebounds at the Heat's own home. Leonard ran circles around James defensively and offensively throughout the game. Or can you blame Wade? Many saw him as a complete no show. Wade was only 1 for 10 heading into the 4th quarter and only contributed 10 points to the Heat massacre. So we ask the question, is there anything left for the Heat? With the Spurs thriving off their fans' energy tonight at their own home, winning isn't going to be an easy feat. Are we just hours away from a 3-1 deficient becoming the nail in an already present coffin? We want to know what you think! Make sure to vote below! Heat or Spurs? Who will take it all? |
