                   New Rules for MLB

Professional baseball fans we must pose this question to you: Is faster better? This seems to the case with the new rule implicated by the MLB for this year to expedite game play. Some of the rules will include limited managerial tasks such as managers being able to leave the dugout during replays of a call. Also, no more lingering after commercial breaks. These rules allow for you to jump right back into the action of the game. Another new rule changes the allowances of hitter stances in relation to the batter’s box when they are up.

What happens if you are in violation of these new presumed improvements? According to ESPN, if the rules are violated once, a warning will be issued. However, for continuous violators, there will be a monetary fine.

One great thing about that changes is that now managers can request a review of when a runner left a base or if they were really safe upon touching a base. They can issue a challenge rule to do so.

What do you think of these changes? Let us know in the poll below!
