The company announced plans to hire 400 new people at its organization. The jobs will impact more than 2,500 job positions in the country and add to the 2700 already employed in the state of Alabama at Boeing. Pies and Pints is a pizza chain offering an array of craft beers, specialty pizzas, salads and sandwiches. HealthSouth broke ground on its new headquarters at 9001 Liberty Parkway in Birmingham this week.
The 200,000-square-foot building will accommodate HealthSouth’s 518 current employees. The campus will include an outdoor patio and walking trails, cafeteria, fitness center and large meeting spaces. HealthSouth hopes that future growth will allow up to 660 employees at the facility. The new office is expected to open in spring 2018 and will handle operational support for a network of 123 physical inpatient rehabilitation hospitals located in 34 states and Puerto Rico.
