In a novel move, one Polish prison is allowing visitors to survey their prisons to highlight socialization programs and the developments made with penitentiary inhabitants. Prison officials theorize this is a good move to assist the prisoners in remaining in touch with the outside world and providing them with evolvement opportunities. There are 10 other facilities implementing the program. Visitors can actually interact with some of the prisoners in a positive manner according to officials in Poland.
One internee is jubilant about access to the arts and books within the prison, exclaiming that these aspects have enhanced his growth and his re-evaluation of life. Still, surveyors were shocked how great the amenities were in comparison with the homeless or other needy individuals. It appears that the new implementations may be helping some prisoners be rehabilitated, while making the public reevaluate their tax dollars. Comments are closed.
