When many use the phrase, "shoot for the stars", this is typically a form of encouragement. However, letting out a barrage of bullets into the sky is apparently not deemed to be all that encouraging.
Cameron Reed was arrested in Phoenix, Arizona for trying to "shoot the moon" last Friday. When you evaluate a situation of this magnitude, you wonder what influenced this decision?
Reed's actions may be contributed to the fact that he was smoking marijuana before the time of the incident. However, he told officers that he was not aiming for a violent occurrence.
Regardless, police didn't take this little act of exploration lightly and booked Reed on unlawful use a firearm, resisting arrest, and a slew of other charges. This is proof that you can't just go shooting for the starts--- or the moon.
