National news is coming out in the wake of the Germanwings massacre of as physical altercation between pilots on an Indian flight. Just as India Air Flight 611 prepared for take-off from Jaipur, the co-pilot jumped on top of the pilot of the flight in a heated battle according to one India newspaper. Allegedly, the co-pilot got angry when he was asked to complete routine paperwork before ascension including: the number of passengers and the weight of the plane at that time.
Ironically, the airline denies that the scuffle ensued, stating that is was just a small, verbal skirmish. When looking into the issue, CNN found that the co-pilot had been involved in other violent occurrences with pilots and his mental health had been questioned previously.
