Soon, we’ll be living in a day and age with technologies so advanced that we’ll be capable throwing a “destructo disk” as seen on the famed, Dragon Ball Z cartoon of the past. This sounds plausible, right? Well, we may be stretching our minds with that hypothesis. However, we think you’ll agree times are evolving when you can create real force fields to protect yourself. Now, this is about to become a reality.
According to CNN, the defense company, Boeing, has successfully patented a new security item that works very similar to a true force field. In a non-convoluted synopsis, the system would be capable of detecting possible danger from a given width, possibly from the results of a bomb, and surround a particular area with an ionized air field to insulate it from the blows. Of course, the effects would be temporary and are still in a very delicate research phase at this time. Still, you can’t help but explore the possibilities of having your own force field during a looming car collision or plane crash in your mind. Just how far will technology go? We’ll never know.
