Hater or Impresario?---The Kevin Hart vs. Mike Epps Struggle Meanwhile in celebrity news, there's a battle for comedic supremacy apparently brewing between Kevin Hart and Mike Epps---or is there? How much of this beef is shadowed by a classic comedian attempting to revive a flailing career and how much is actually true? Of course this all started with Mike Epps stating in a recent interview that Kevin Hart was "overrated". Now, this seems like the normal hater-type commentary to me. But of course being the entertainers that they are, Kevin Hart decided to fire back on social media. "Just heard @therealmikeepps called me "Overrated" on the radio this am! I missed it bcuz I was on set "working" do you remember what that is?" Hart released an additional barrage of insults pertaining to making Epps famous from this little squabble. But could that idea really be all that farfetched? Is Epps just a little jealous that Kevin Hart, the star of various recent films, is taking all the spotlight away from the, dare I say, "grandfathers" of comedy? Regardless, the misconception that there cannot be more than one great African American comedian is somehow buried under a rug of what could be considered factious pride. If this is somehow a real pugilism, let's stop, take two steps back and think about this. Kevin Hart and Mike Epps--two different comedians on two very different paths. Each should just take a path, stick with it, and leave the drama for Denzel. What do you think? We definitely want to hear from you! Comment your thoughts!
