If you have an undying love for the provocative series “Scandal”, you’ll adulate the new film HBO is presenting soon. The network has inked out a deal with Kerry Washington in which she would star in and produce a movie called “Confirmation” for the network. In the film, she will portray Anita Hill and the pivotal 1991 hearings brought forth for the Clarence Thomas-Hill Supreme Court nomination. Washington will enact the colleague that accuses Thomas of assault in the film. With these court proceedings, a variance of topics will arise that correlate to the very cases we are experiencing today.
Susannah Grant will reportedly be a part of the project’s script creation. She is most noted for her work with “Erin Brockovich”. The movie is being produced by Groundswell Productions in conjunction with ABC Signature Studios. A director has not been nailed down at this time.
