![]() If someone were to ask us about the carbon monoxide monitoring devices available in our home, we wouldn’t have a viable response. Since the influence of the gas is not something that is always at the forefront of your mind, the story coming out of Maryland this evening is all the more cryptic. Eight people within one family were discovered dead in their home on Monday in Maryland. Interestingly enough, these murders are not being classified as homicides at this time. Although, nothing will be etched in stone until the coroner’s report, officials seem to be leaning toward a carbon monoxide gas causing the deaths. It may have been present in the home without the family knowing. Seven of the bodies found were children, who were all between the ages of 6 and 16. There was also a man found within the home that was deceased, who is assumed to be their father. The children’s mother was not among the deceased, but is aware of the occurrence. This story is still developing. Comments are closed.
