![]() California has long been known as the state of dreams, aspirations, and stars. However, the state is making headlines for a completely different reason recently. Citizens are being placed on water usage restrictions in the wake of a severe drought plaguing the state. Even the mountains that are usually capped in snow by this point are showing no signs of the white condensation. Due to this, the governor, Jerry Brown, has delineated specific water conservation stipulations to businesses, crop holders, and typical Californians. Everyone must cut back on water exertion by 25% throughout the state. The only sector that the restrictions will not effect is the agriculture industry. These stipulations do not apply to them regardless of the fact that they are said to use approximately 80% of water within the state. What’s the take away here? In the words of famed group, TLC, “don’t go chasing waterfalls”—unless there’s a drought. Then, you’d definitely want to chase those. Comments are closed.
