![]() Have you ever had a late night sweet tooth craving that threatened to overwhelm you? We bet you weren’t as determined as one little girl to get a saccharine treat. We picked up a story from HLN that detailes a 4-year old girl escaping her home and catching a bus to the nearest store to satisfy her sweet tooth. Annabelle Mager’s parents were shocked to find out that their toddler was missing yesterday from her room. She was later returned to her home by authorities after the bus driver of the Philadelphia Route 56 line alerted them that little Annabelle had wandered away from home. When the driver asked her where she was headed at 3:00 AM without an adult, she simply stated she was heading to get a slushie. The brave, young girl wasn’t alarmed at all as she chatted with other passengers on the bus until police arrived. Her parents were enthralled that Annabelle was actually able to undo the locks of the back door, leave their property, and walk a good distance to catch the bus. However, they were more so thankful to Harlan Jenifer, the bus driver responsible for calling for assistance when he spotted their daughter. The situation could have ended with a kidnapping rather than a safe return home if it weren’t for the heroic actions of a bystander. Comments are closed.
